After our Ignatian Retreat last November 2009, I was able to composed a poem that with the love of Jesus, I was able to response with love too.
When I feel the wind and the chirping of the bird
When I look at the trees and the dancing of the grass
When I breathe the air and look at the skies above
The message is just one, the message is: I LOVE YOU SON.
When I look at the sun and moon at night
When the stars appear and start to blink
When I look at the ground to where I stand
The message is just one, the message is: I LOVE YOU SON.
When I feel happy, I see your hands are clapping on me
When I feel sad, your hands are embracing me
Whatever I feel you are always here
The message is just one, the message is: I LOVE YOU SON.
When I am alone, you said "I am here"
When I start to speak, you said "here is my ear"
When I am weak, you said "I am your strength"
The message is just one, the message is: I LOVE YOU SON.
When I go astray because of my sins
You leave the others for the sake of searching
And when you found me you hugged me tightly
The message is just one, the message is: I LOVE YOU SON.
Now, I have decided to follow you in your journey
Willing to live in poverty, dishonor and humility
Giving up my life even my liberty
Because I also have one message to you: JESUS I LOVE YOU TOO.
